How to hit a snowboard jump?

So i hit a snowboard jump the other day and i messed up on the take off. Please help?

    agree with all these answers...leaning back way to much going up to the lip of the jump..when you reach the top you need to jump with both feet or ollie...ollie will get you much more pop and makes it easier to stay straight in are...jumping with both feet are good for spins..just practice and youll see what works good for you

bend your news and practice on a little smaller jump if they have one if not than it seems to me your biggest problem is that you might me scared or nervous and are trying to back out at the last second

Bend your knees and lean forward more, your clearly leaning back too much
