Mount Hood is the only ski resort in the US open to year round skiing. There are quite a few backcountry spots here in Colorado that are sweet, but require a lot of hiking.

Mt Hood is the only place in the US, in Canada you can ski on Whistler's glacier. And throughout the Rockies you can just hike for your turns all summer =p
