What are you supposed to wear/ bring with you when you go snowboarding?

bring a hat, money, gloves, goggles, jacket, snowpants, boots, and possibly a scarf. then just bring your setup, or if your renting just bring some extra cash

Yes the learning curve for snowboarding is high. Unless you've already surfed or wakeboarded it will all be foreign to you. Alot of people try to realte snowboarding to skateboarding to beginners and truth be told it's not true to beginners Skateboarding only relates to "jibbing" (rails, jumps, spins, flips). Few tips I've learned on the mountian... 1. Take lessons unless you already know someone patient enough to teach you pay to get the basics. 2. Have the right gear. Boots, Pants, Gloves, Goggles, Jacket, Beenie, LipBalm... Prioritize in the same order I mentioned. Your gear will be more important than what kind of board you are using. I say this because chances are you will rent a board for the frist time (btw you can get lesson and rental deal combos,including lift ticket, for a reasonalbe price). It's just better to have your own outerwear to avoid the funk. 2. Try to fall flat (forward or backwards) Avoid catching your fall w/ you hands and avoid falling strait to your butt. If you have ever heard horror storeis about broken wrists and/or tailbones this is the reason why. 3. Keep your knees bent as much as possible. It will be awkward but it helps with turning and speed. 4. Don't get caught up in the "drama" of everyone else around you. Snowboarding to some people is a big ego session (you ******* know who you are) and will stir up bull **** against you to make them feel better. Just ignore them and stay focused on your riding. You are NOT there for them right??? Most of all Have fun! Snowboarding is a beautiful activity once learned and respected. Hope this helps.

Woah that dude wrote alot. I will tell you what i wear. I always head to my mountain wayyy early. And it cold in the morning of course. So I always start with jeans, snow pants, t-shirt, snow jacket, long socks, gloves. Usually by mid day the mountain has too much sun so then ill ditch my jacket in the car and wear the rest. As far as other thing to bring with... The way i see it is the less you bring the better. If you really want to have a good time and enjoy snowboarding then keep as much stuff out of your pockets as you can. I only bring my phone and my wallet. Both stay zipped up in my pockets :]

well, its common sense? your gonna be in snow, getting cold, and getting wet (not sexually) so you'll need a jacket, gloves, waterproof snowpants, goggles(optional) a hat, money, and chapstick, if your going with your boyfriend cause kissing a girl with chapped lips ISN'T good :]
