Snowboards:Camber or Rocker?

  • Answer:

My freind tried everything to increase his vertical jump! Air Alert, Strength shoes, plyos you name it he tried it. I bet him $50 bucks that I knew a program that could add 10 inches to his vertical jump in less than 90 days. Well he gained 13 inches in 12 weeks and now he can 360 dunk with 2 hands. So now he is recommending it to his coach so that the whole team does the work-out cause of much better quicker he is. There is a free workbook at the link below called the How to Jump Higher in 45 Minutes - The Workbook if interested in checking it out. Best Regards

K2 parkstar and Rome Agent Rocker are both some good choices for you. They are overall pretty stiff but still have the rocker shape to them. They are great when you want a little bit of everything. The rocker will help a ton for rails and getting up in the powder. These boards can pretty much handle it all.

Never Summer EVO or Signal Omni. both are very stable but are great for jumps too. the evo has a better warranty, but the omni is an amazing board for carving, bookin it, and buttering around. the way each board is designed actually gives you more edge contact points so they are super stable. i wouldnt reccomend the skate banana or park pickle because, even though they have awesome innovative technology like magne-traction, asymetrical design, and the edges, they just arent going to last you. a buddy of mine has the skate banana and because the edges end to "prevent caught edges" the bottom sheet of ptex is actually peeling off right where they end.

i prefer my scallywag over any board, but if you get a park pickle, it works out very well. another idea is like the other guy said, a banana magic, i got to test one and it's a really nice ride.

Go with the lib-tech. I love my lib-tech forever and ever and i'm gonna ride it till it is just shreds and then save the pieces. but yea it can get sketchy at high speeds. If you want to bomb black diamonds and go fast i'd suggest an arbor a-frame which is an awesome mountain board. It's nice ad stable even at high speeds and carves amazing. The arbor westmark is a good park board but its stable enough to speed down slopes. Its just not flexible enough to do a lot of jibbing. It's too rigid for presses. My a-frame is a camber and my westmark and libtech are rocker's and ive never noticed a major difference. i ride each one just fine. the only difference is the camber has that bubble right in the middle of the board where it raises up and the rocker doesnt and is more raided on the nose and tail. it never makes a difference to me
