dedication.... you have to keep at it. your going to need to get a lot more tricks if your looking to get serious with the sport. you are at such a young age, so you have some time to progress your skills. like the other guy said, there is so much talent out there at such young ages these days, your going to have to bust your tail! if you live in an area were it snows, i would imagine there are local boardshops. Try making a short video of your best stuff, and talk to a shop about getting sponsored. you would be suprised at what could happen! good luck, and keep at it!

Come up with a plan B. All of that is impressive for your age but there are 17 year olds styling out triple corks. Almost any large company in the snowboard industry isn't looking for "sometimes landing 360s" when they give out sponsorships, so just keep practicing and see where you are at in a few years. You may be able to get local sponsors to help with costs of gear, passes, etc. however, so just make a sponsor-me video and drop off the disk with places you think may be interested in sponsoring a young rider. Most of all just ride because you like it, there is nothing wrong with making films just because either, plus video editing/filming can be of use to you down the road. Oh and also try competing at your local resorts in any youth competitions, placing in them will get you noticed for sure especially if you do so regularly. Some smaller competitions also offer the opportunity to compete at bigger and much more popular comp's elsewhere (in addition to the prizes).

I know a ten year old who can rodeo and do a 540. So if you want to get sponsored you're going to have to learn to nail more tricks. Also one way to get sponsored is to enter more snowboard contests. That way if you get a good result, someone might notice and sponsor you.

Becoming a professional in any sport takes a lot of work and dedication. Everyone else pretty much covered the basics. There are only two other things I can recommend. First, attend as many advanced camps and classes as you can. This will give you a chance to learn new moves and will let you begin networking with other riders and pros who may help you out later. Second, send your video to various contests held by major companies to make yourself a little more visible. For example, Rome SDS has annual "Local GNAR" competition (youtube "rome local gnar"). That might be a good start. Good luck.

Most riders start with local sponsors and work their way up to national sponsors. Start by having someone follow you with a GoPro and make a video of you riding. Don't edit it too much - sponsors like to see the whole run. Show it to local businesses and ask for sponsorship from them. I would also recommend entering competitions. One of the riders I know was sponsored by a local yogurt shop. Get creative and work at getting sponsors just as hard as you work at riding. Don't listen to these other guys cutting you down. I know riders that can't do half what you do and they have sponsors.
