What would be a great place to go skiing/ snowboarding?

    Heavenly at Lake Tahoe has got amazing views. There's tons of place out west. In the east, you can hit up Killington in Vermont. It's the biggest in the east and there's trails that go over bridges and under roads. it's pretty awesome!

I agree with Grant. I live about an hour from Snowshoe, WV. It is one of the top resorts on the East Coast and it is great to learn there. That's where I learned to snowboard. There are two resorts (Silvercreek and Snowshoe) that you get to use for your ticket.

come up to Canada girl try out Whistler or Fernie or Sunshine or Lake Louise. If you want site seeing as well I would go to Sunshine Village, then you will be right near Banff National park which is absoutely beautiful and very touristy, lots of little shops and ****, I think you would have blast and Sunshine Village is amazing. All of these places are in Alberta except for Whistler which is in British Columbia. But all are definetly worth seeing, good luck!

My dad works for United and I have the same perks as you. But since you have never gone before, I would honestly say to not go to a high end resort if you dont have the skills to experience the mountain. You could get the same from a local resort or a small resort thats close to you. Once you have the basics down and can ride almost any run, Thats when I would go along and ride the other big resorts.

I have had my best experiences skiing at Whistler Black Comb in British Coloumbia Canada. But if your just learning i would recommend going to Snowshoe in west virginia. because they have a great Learn To Ski program.
