How can I fix my snowboard?

Where or how can i fix a scratch in a snowboard?

    All you need is a p-tex candle, a lighter, and a wax scraper. To get a p-tex candle, just go into your local shop and ask the service guy, or go to this website: http://www.slidewright.com/proddetail.php?prod=PT001 To get a wax scraper if you don't already have one, go to your local shop or this website:http://www.sportstop.com/Flow-Small-Snowboard-Scraper?partner=googlebase&zmam=95871589&zmas=1&zmac=2&zmap=FLOW10SMBBLD Melt the candle into the scratch with the lighter, then scrape it flat. -side note, you need to remove all of the wax from the area around the scratch before you do this, or the p-tex might not stick. You could also take your board in to any shop that does waxing, point it out to them, and ask them to fix it.

In my opinion it's just wise to wax the board yourself. Rub in the wax in a line running the long way down the board and the scratch is still there but it's like it's non-existent. It doesn't affect your performance in hardly anyway. Ask your local skate/snowboard shop about it.

literally, i use a pen cap. i melt that **** over the cut and the scratch it to an even plane.and the a thin wax layerin over the board

it's pretty easy. check out this video to see how. pretty much any snowboarding shop or web site would have the tools and supplies you would need. try www.backcountry.com if you can't find any.

The p-tex is good but you dont have to take off all your wax to put it on....Thats just crazy!!! Just get snowboard wax melt it into the gash and smooth it over. Thats all you have to do. Or just take it to anyplace that can wax a snowboard and have them do it. Watch them so you can do it yourself next time and you dont have to pay.
