Which is better? Skiing or snowboarding?

deal breaker: skiing is easier to learn, hard to master; boarding is difficult to learn but easier to master... as someone who started skiing then learned how to snowboard, boarding is actually less work than skiing when you have figured out what youre doing (i am quite lazy lol). off topic, but since youre new i would recommend taking a lesson for which ever one you choose. also, watching people ski/board it is a good way to learn the sport. have fun!!!

Snowboarding is approximately 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000,000,000,000x more awesome than skiing.

it doesn't really matter you will be on your bottom more times than not as a beginner but that doesn't stop you from having fun doing it

Usually people start skiing and once their a decent skier then they start snowboarding, but if you want you could choose snowboarding. For me, I really like skiing and I started with skiing because it seems like snowboarding would be a lot harder. But I do know people who like snowboarding better and find it easier. I think either one will be fun for you :) good luck!
