How old can anyone start snowboarding?

    At northstar in Tahoe there is a couple that snowboards with their 3 kids. Their youngest is 4 years old. Iv seen him a bunch of times in the progression park hitting the small boxes and rails. So i guess as long as the kid can walk and you can find the equipment small enough, you are good to go.

Well technically a person can start at least when they are 2 , 3 , or 4 years old.

in may be smart to start her off on skis but not nesasary. it's just to get used to the snow and easier to control. my little brother started skiing when he was like 5 and started snowboarding at like 7. my older brother skiied for a day and then switched to snowboarding when he was 9. i started snowboarding at 11. my younger brother got used to it reallyfast and is actually really good (doing tricks and stuff) the youngest i would start is 5-6 and if you want you can start off in skis

Any ski shop can help you out. Last year I put my son in ski school and I think they wanted the snowboarding kids to be at least five. A friend of mine has a two year old and he snow boards all the time and he is teaching her also. She also skate boards.

I'd say 11 or 12.
