Should I get Contraband bindings for my new DH board?

Picked up 2010 Contrabands, but haven't tried them out in the snow yet. They're light, fast to get in/out, but seem like a bit of a pain in the a$$. As with most Ride bindings, the ratchets are a bit tough to release and take some getting used to. Also, it seems to me that you will need to shift the toe band into the right position every time you strap in, so it might not be as time-saving as it appears. Overall, the bindings are durable (don't know about the toe band yet), comfortable, and well-built, so I would recommend them.

Ive heard a lot of people break their contrabands, but they are heavy riders. Id reccomend Ride RX or LX bindings, yes Union bindings (look at Force) are durable if anything, Burton has some good bindings, as well as K2 Auto and some Flow bindings. Read the reviews! and do your research if ur looking at anything besides union and ride. But it looks like the board has good mobility so id get some good reacting bindings. I had K2 bindings and then Ride RX, the difference between those bindings made me think i bought a new board riding on the RIDE RX.

I would say go with the Burton Cartel bindings. They are really good and Ive been riding them for many seasons now and they are the best!!!

union forces or contacts would be the best choice

Definitely get the Unions over the Contrabands. You really don't save any time with the one strap and you sacrifice a bit of response. Get a pair of Union forces and you won't be disappointed.
