How much would a beginner snowboard cost?

if your a beginer than just get one off of craigslist for cheap thats how I started out.

around 300-400 would be a good price. If i were u i would not get a complete set.Complete boards are not much of a discount and custom boards can have the best parts for the train your doing with the performance u want. Also try on the boots before you buy them. If they fit wrong u will regret it.

Board- $200, Bindings- you could probably get a decent pair between $100-$150 Boots- I actually got a great deal last year on boots, and I got them for $80! Look around, I would estimate $80-$120 Snowpants- $100- $200 It also depends on if you need a jacket, gloves, if you plan on getting goggles or a helmet, etc.

For a beginner, your board shouldn't cost any more than $200. Bindings should be under $100 and boots should be under $100. I wouldn't go under $40 on boots or bindings, they won't last long. Board shouldn't be less than $120. You're looking from $200-$400 for the 3. If you need jacket, pants, goggles, gloves, and helmet you're probably looking at another $300 for a cheap set. You don't want to get cheap outerwear unless you only go on warm, sunny days. You'll get wet and be miserable if you buy cheap stuff and go on cold days.
