Id go rome... i got a new rome board last spring and it works awesome..... a had ride snuff before but the toe part of the boots peeled up and on the board the laminate thing was pealing off...... but there bindings were really nice.

i would say rome has made a better name for themselves. I would suggest a libtech too tho they have sick boards. ride is good too

Rome reppin' the whole way. Thats not to say Stepchild isn't good though. Just stay away from Burton though, you'll just be payin' for the name.

other than burton? ive had good luck with ride snowboards, i used to ride burton but got a ride and now im sticking with ride
