My first time snowboarding tomorrow ! :D do you have any tips for me ? :)?

don't be afraid to fall, it's all part of the process

before you get on the slopes make sure you explore the board. see how it feels when you lean left, right, forward, and back. fall a couple of times and learn to get back. that seems to be the problem for starters. when your coming down, snowboards pick up speed easily and the only way to slow it down is to turn right then left then right then left a few times. you have to know how to do this !!! knees have to be bent, keep your arms out. learn to stop..you gotta lean back and the board willl come forward and lean til the front of ur board is lifted off the ground. be ready to fall on your knees alot.

Keep your knees bent. Practice standing and pushing on flat ground before you go up the hill. Be very careful when you fall, dont try to stop yourself with your hands. This can cause serious wrist and elbow injuries. HAVE FUN!

Have you sk8boarded, surfed, or wakeboarded in the past? If so you will want your feet in the same position. Most right handed people stand with left foot forward. Wear wrist guards if you can. You will be falling on your wrists and butt all day. Remain patient and take it slow, the first day usually sucks for everyone, especially if they haven't surfed, sk8ed, or wakeboarded in the past. Go with a bigger board the first time, they are less maneuverable but more stable. Just don't give up!
