What Brand of snowboard is the best for your money?

I am wondering what brand of snowboard is best for my money? Are Palmer, Burton, Ride, and K2 as good as they say they are?

burton is an extremely good brand; personally, my favorite out of all of my boards is Roxy, but im a girl, so i guess that wouldnt be good for you!.. but burton is definitely a good brand.. and if you dont want to spend the $500-700 that it would usually cost, try boardzone.com for .. about 70% off equipment [including boards, bindings, boots, pants, goggles, etc].. and its brand new-2007!

it depends if you are new at the sport or not, if your new go with k2 and that would be best for your money my first was a k2 and its still in good condition. burton you can either buy really good boards from them or you can get cheap boards that are no good and definitly not worth the money, rides alright too, but dont go with palmer
