What brands of snowboards are good?

  • i am getting a new snowboard soon. what brands are good? im not looking for a world class quality bored, but i want a good board.

    This is really a matter of opinion.... Diehards will stand by their brand, regardless of reviews or anything. I would recommend several of these brands because i've ridden them and found them to be well constructed, timeless and most of all well worth the money. My first choice: Arbor Arbor decks are extremely well made. They are not only extremely functional, but also beautiful to look at. Check out Ebay for a great Arbor deck. I personally ride the Arbor Element, I bought it brand new and have never been more satisfied. Forum I ride a shorter deck on park days. Forum is well crafted (a Burton company) I've found it to be very reliable and takes a beating. Ride Ride is about as solid of a snowboard as you are going to get, I was riding the Misfit until it was stolen. Some decks I would steer away from: Rossingol Super Stiff, I had to sell it half way through the year as I wasn't getting the response I wanted. Well I guess thats about it for decks I really disliked. Anyway good luck!!

Burton is probably the best and they can be pretty cheap, K2 is also pretty good. Just stay away from brands with a 4 letter name, like Sims

Here's the brands I or people I know have had good experience with: Nitro Salomon Ride Lib Tech Battalion Arbor Burton K2 Forum Brands to stay away from unless your really broke: Sims 5150 Lamar Firefly Hope this helps. Before you pick out a board though make sure it's the right type for you (such as a park board, freeride etc.) and be sure to read some customer reviews to make sure people haven't had problems with it.
