Which do you think is better? Snowboarding or skiing?

Snowboarding is better hands down. I was an avid skier for 12 years before I starting snowboarding. When I was a beginner I snowboarded for the morning then skied the afternoon. Now, I haven't skied in over 5 years! I find that snowboarding is more "natural" for me and way more fun. Snowboarders tend to find every bump and grind on a hill and have fun with them. Plus I think it is much easier to get started in park and pipe with a snowboard.

i think snowboarding, iam a snowboarder and its really awesome. Skiing is easier, i only think its easier becuase everyone seems to be advanceing faster in skiing than snowboarding, skiing u can push with those sticks but snowboarding is harder to move to the ski lift without walking there. Snwboarding is cooler, the boards are cooler, and would u pick up more chicks snowbarding or skiing think about it, and u can do cooler tricks snowboarding.

I love to snowboard. All my friends love snowboarding. My cousin was a core snowboarder for many years but now that she is older, the sport hurts her knees. She ski's now. I think both sports are really pushing it. Snowboarding is a little tooo trendy now.

Well, asking this in the snowboard category, the results of this pole of yours are kind of fixed. As you might guess, my answer is snowboarding. It's not that I have anything against skiers, in fact I have plenty of skier friends, but as a snowboarder, I am obviously going to say that snowboarding is better. For better results post in the "General- Winter Sports' category.

I have tried both skiing and snowboarding...and in my own oppinion I think that snowboarding is better. I think it is more of a challenge to learn, and I love challenges. = )

i like skiing better for going down hard slopes (blk diamond, double blk diamond) but boarding is way better for park

Ugh...I hate skiing because I think it's boring. But I love snowboarding.

ahaha!! i was so going to put it's your opionion, not mine.....personally i think snowboarding is better...but who am i to judge, i don't know how to ski......snowboarding looks way cooler than skiing though(no one can deny that)
