Which snowboard is better?

Which snowboard brand is better? RIDE or PALMER?

  • my friend keeps telling me that his palmer is so much better than my ride but i dont agree with him. so which is better?

    well if you were going between burton and anyother brand i would certainly pick burton .. they are the BEST!!! but since you picked ride and palmer i would have to go with ride since they make sum super sweet boards and bindings next to burton...

Ride is owned by K2. I promise your Ride board is better than a Palmer. Also Burton did not invent the snowboard; they popularized it on the East Coast. Sims was on the West coast while Burton was on the East coast. Burton makes a good board, but they are the Abercrombie of snowboarding. Ride/K2 and Burton combined own more that 2/3rd of the market share. Remember this, Burton talks trash about Ride's Aluminum Bindings, but Burton went and made an Aluminum core board. A $900 board that dents, not the best idea.

ride, when the ride came out with the DH you can now tell your friend that the DH will put any "Palmer" away...ride all the way man even know there are so many other boards out there ride is the way to go in this situation

it depends on the rider, and where you like to ride. And how much money you want to spend. there are so many snowboard companies out there you should find the one you like. Foursquare, Burton, Jeenyus, Sims, and Sessions are all good boards but in the end its up to you.

Ride is better i have a ride and a burton but i like the ride better so go for the ride

neither is better. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.Out Ride your friends with 1 of there boards and then outride them on your own.

If you're a good snowboarder you can ride the snot out of pretty much any board that's come out in the last few years. Ride it hard and put it away wet!

It's really just personal preference, but I like Ride and Never Summer boards

well, they are both pretty good but if you want to try something different, go with Burton!!!! Forum is pretty good to!!!
