High school options for figure skating?

I'm sorry; but that sounds extremely implausible. I skate 20-ish hours a week, and I miss two mornings of school each week to get those hours. If you're skating 18 hours, that would mean that you skate non-stop after school and on the weekends. Even the best skaters do that. I know competitive skaters who only skate 2-3 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. That's roughly 14 hours. And for only having been skating for a year? I'm sorry, but I have a difficult time believing that. Onto the actual question: if it's working for you now, why mess with it? I could never change schools, because I've had this system worked out since grade 8 (with some small changes) that are dependant on my school's schedule. Also, for the 'skating school' you probably have to try out or be a certain level. After only a year of skating, it's highly unlikely that you're a high enough level. You should look into the requirements for the school before deciding you want to go there.

....Sorry, but I just have a hard time believing you skate 18 hours a week as well as regular school. Even Olympians only do 20-25 mostly.
