  First of all are you talking about skating recreationally or proper figure skating. If you are wanting to continue skating recreationally either of these will be fine, however if you are thinking of getting back into figure skating, NEITHER of these will be good. Even if you are starting at the very basics again, you NEED a pair of skates with good support. You don't need to invest in a pair of advanced skates - I don't think you'll be getting into jumps straight away, but you need a pair that will support your ankles and not be as floppy as bunny ears.
