How long does it take for you to break in your skates?

  • I went skating yesterday and my feet was hurting because of the skates (they're new) And I'm only going once a week now. How long do you think it will take for me to break them in?

    it usually takes me about 2 or 3 days, but i skate alot and i have risports. and yes they usually hurt, try walking around the house with them on (wear bladeguards). if your ankles are irritated, get bunga pads.

2-3 weeks if you skate a lot.

Soak them in a bucket of sump oil for 2-3hrs (in the shade). This will work wonders.

maybe they are not right for you. its shouldn't hurt. get another pair and wear thicker socks
