  I myself am a figure skater. The only danger in hockey is getting hit in the back of the neck by a hockey puck. But I would have to say figure skating is far more dangerous. And I am not just saying that because I am a figure skater. Think of it this way. Hockey player wear so many pads that they can barely walk. But figure skaters wear nothing. They get bruised and cut all over their bodies. Not to mention most of them are guaranteed to get arthritis when they are older. Pair skaters are at rick the most. So many have gotten facial fractures. Many have almost died. And you can't "accidentally" fall in figure skating. Once you get to a certain level, falling is the only way to improve. You have to be a risk taker and being careful isn't going to cut it.
