What to wear on an ice skating date/ice skating tips?

Don't wear thick socks because this will give you blisters, if the girl who posted above me really was a figure skater she would know you wear nylon socks. If you do not own nylon socks, borrow moms or use a pair of tights. A little belated, but skinny jeans and a tube top with a cardy (cardigan), and flats. It is also a good put together out fit you can wear to school when trying to get a date, or going on a different date like the movies or the park. You can wear this in summer too but switch out the jeans for shorts, and don't use the cardigan if its in the day. I would wear jeans any type of jeans you have. I wore skinny jeans on mine. I would also wear a cute top. I wore a lime green floral tube top from Hollister with a navy cardigan. I went with a group of people on a Friday night. This guy from my group, who I didn't think noticed me very much said that I looked cute. A lot of other people in our group came up to me and gave me compliments. I do figure skating though and nobody else in our group knew how to skate really so it was pretty fun. You can also grab your guys hand a lot too for "balance" or because your hands got "cold"

Wear jeans and a warm sweater for the weather, plus gloves. For skating, just keep jour ankles strong and push outwards at an angle. It is easy to get a good skating ability.

If you have snowpants or windpants with something under them for warmth, you should wear those. Sweat pants will work but if you fall they might get wet. stay away from jeans because they restrict movement a little, plus you have never done this before. any jacket works.
