Answer:
1.Yes,that is okay as long as you are comfortable wearing it. 2.You can buy your own skates if you have a budget and money to buy it.Owning can save you money than renting a skate or snowboards. 3.Just relax your self first then give some time to rest before you drink. 4.Skating or snowboarding is fun when you do it with your friends and family, now its up to you weather you pick your sister among your friends to be with you in ice skating.

1) If its an indoor rink then you could do without the coat, you will get super hot! Also make sure you can move it it. Try putting it on the day before you go and try to lift one leg up holding onto a wall and also try to move your arms around. Also DO NOT WEAR JEANS! wear leggings or tights! you cannot move properly in jeans and when you fall they soak up the water and don't dry! Also do not wear thick socks, they cause blisters and cut off blood flow. 2) Since you have been skating before and you know you like it, if you really want to spend about $100 for decent beginner skates (http://www.ice.riedellskates.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductName=121-RS ) then it would be a good move. They provide better support and comfort than rental skates and you will be able to preform the moves better. Also if you decide you don't like taking classes you can always still use them for when you go public skating! But if you don't want to spend that much money rentals are fine. Tons of the basic 1-4 skaters i teach do just fine in them! But if you choose to continue in skating you will need your own skates! 3) Yes! You should always keep yourself hydrated when skating, take a bottle of water! 4) There will be tons of people who also don't know anyone there, you could make some new friends! But if you really want to go with someone ask them both to come! It is fun when you have friends with you!

wow! that's cheap:P 1) if your warm with it and it doesn't overheat you, then by all means, wear it!:) plus make sure it's comfortable. 2) well, your own skates are definitely the best. however they take some time to break into them and may give you an awful lot of blisters. however, if you determined to continue learning seriously and proceed on after the 4 lessons, then i recommend you to buy. reidell and jackson are amazing brands:) wear your skates a few times before you start lesson. 3) drink lots before and after. keep hydrated. 4)you can ask your friend or sister. if their not as keen, make friends during the lesson.:) hope you have an awesome time skating!!

Try under armour type attire. A tight fitting shirt and a tight fleece jacket is the usual attire for figure skaters. Don't worry about your feet being cold. Thick socks restrict the feeling. You might not be able to point your toe correctly in thick socks, understand what I'm saying? I suggest footed tights, and a thin long sock over it. Try a few lessons in rental skates, then if you want to stick with it, look into buying a high quality figure skate. Not a recreational skate. I skate in Jackson skates. Yes a drink! I usually take gatorade. Ask anyone! But make sure they'll enjoy it. Or make some new skating friends! Good luck and have fun!!!

1. Er, indoor or outdoor rink? Because that is a crazy lot of clothing for an indoor rink. You could probably do without the coat. ;) Don't wear thick socks. I used to think that you had to wear thick socks too, until I realised they were cutting off circulation to my feet and causing the rental skates to not fit properly. Thin socks are the go, but make sure they come up well above the boot top. 2. I would wait. After these four lessons you may decide you REALLY want to continue on to higher things. Then you can buy your own skates. Otherwise that's a lot of money to invest in something you may not use. 3. Absolutely. Never go to the rink without a full drinkbottle. Water is best. 4. You could ask a friend or your sister. Most people are in the same boat, turning up for their first lesson alone. It's really up to you! Enjoy your skating!
