Where can I ice skate in Singapore?

Is it easy to ice-skate?

  • My friends can ice -skate well but I can't. I am thinking of trying to learn to ice-skate. BUT is it hard to skate? :)

    Some people find it harder than others. If you have good balance and co ordination, you'll find it easier. But skating is always a good thing to learn; it's a great life skill to have. If you ever go skating with your friends and you've taken skating lessons, you will be much more confident of your abilities.

Some people find it harder than others to learn, but that doesn't mean it's impossible for you to learn. Some rinks offer a short one time lesson to get you started on the ice, see if your rink offers those and then also go to public sessions to practice, you might end up loving it and taking up learn to skate.

are you talking professionally skating, like jumps and spins, or just learning to where you dont fall when you go? If your talking professionally then YES it is one of the most difficult sports there is, next to gymnastics. If your talking about just getting to where you dont fall and can skate pretty well then that should take about a month if you go at least once a week

You need to believe in yourself and you can do it :) make sure you relax and bend your knees the worst thing to do is to stay stiff listen well to your teacher and don't give up!! :D

ive only been twice for around 2 hours each time and i got used to it pretty quickly! its not that hard just sty to the edges until you feel a little more confident:)
