ICE SKATES HELP... I want to buy my myself ice skates and not sure what the diff is between ice skates?

Yes, they do. They are actually more comfortable, too. The only difference is how they fit, what they make them out of, and the figure skate has a toepick, which most figure skaters tend to use.

females can wear hocky skates but only if your doing hocky you cant figure skate in them you can get different coloured figure skates as well but their quite hard to find you aould always wear boot covers :]

with hockey skates you can't jump because you don't have a toe pick and you can't spin because you don't have a toe pick you can slip off the front of your blade and fall on your chin. Yes girls do wear hockey skates. Also girls don't have to wear white figure skates you can also get tan colour skates they are also for girls.

Sorry, but you didn't explain this very well if your a hockey skater then hockey skates the shape of the blade is different on them and the style of boot is too these are meant to give you more speed If your an ice skater then ice skates these give you're mobility to do sharp turns etc and are meant to be strong so you don't brake your ankle when you do jumps etc

It depends what sport your doing. If you're doing figure skating you need to get the white ones. If you want to start hockey then buy the hockey skates. Yes, girls wear hockey skates.
