what to expect? your coach will probably begin with forward glides and stroking. plus they will most definately work on stops. basic stuff like that for pants: you could wear jeans. for beginners it doesn't really matter but if you are worried about it then it might be better to wear something that you can move around in easier. dance pants are best if you have them. for top: t-shirt and and a jacket are fine if don't worry too much but if you have something warm without a hood that would be best also it would be good to bring some gloves. what to bring: water is best gatorade is fine but most rinks don't like you bringing colored drinks onto the ice they usually don't make a big deal about it but just to be safe bring water : ) Well Good Luck!

- First of all they will be teaching you to glide on the ice, and do basic moves such as 1 foot glides and siwzzles. DO NOT BE SCARED! You may fall, but everybody falls, so dont be worried. -Either wear an ice-skating costume, or sweat pants. -Wear a t-shirt with a sweater, because it will be cold at first. If you get hot later on you can always take the sweater off. -Bring water or gatorade to drink. NO SODA!! GOOD LUCK && HAVE FUN!!

well you will be put in a group with people your level and they will teach you basic stuff like how to get up after falling, how to stop...things like that. since your older you will probably get moved up quite soon wear trackpants or something warm but NOT jeans. they are hard to skate in and once they get wet, it takes ages for them to dry out. on the top just wear a t-shirt with a jacket or jumper or something you can bring a drink if you want, most ice rinks sell drinks and food though. you dont need to worry about that since you dont get hot ice skating especially on your first lesson HAVE FUN!!! ICE SKATING IS THE BEST SPORT!!!

*dont expect any actual figure skating, he will teach you how to get up from the ice, how to skate, how to stop... basics... *if you have yoga pants where those... jeans aren't good... any type of exercise pant is good. *just a shirt with a hoodie, gloves are a good idea too *i dont think you will really need anything to drink since you wont be doing that much actual skating, if you want bring water but other skaters might look at you a little funny. tissues are good to bring cause your nose WILL start running. Good luck!

I wouldnt wear jeans i would wear sweat pants, or a skating skirt but since you are just starting i bet you dont have a skirt, so shoot for sweat-pants. Idk about your ice rink but ours is really cold, i would wear a long sleeve shirt, then a short sleeve shirt over top and a coat of some sorts[ maybe a sweatshirt] Make sure to bring a towel to dry your blades when your done skating, so your blades dont rust and sure, if you want to bring a drink idk if they will give you any breaks but its worth a try. When i started skating i could barley skate either, you learn quick, trust me and you'll have tons of fun!! Good luck!! :)

You just listen to the instructor. They will tell you everything. Don't be nervous. Wear loose pants, or stretchy ones. Wear a coat, or a sweatshirt, or a long-sleeved shirt. Bring some water. Good luck! ♥

expect to learn how to fall , get up and maybe glide as well. wear layers that way if you get warm you can take some off to cool down a bit... jeans are fine.. sweats might get more wet though if you fall...doesnt matter what drink...but i'd bring either water or gaterade -- something with a lid to close. good luck skating! =]

*what do i expect? What will happen? well if you're a beginner starting group lessons they'll probably do some things to find out where everyone is at ability-wise. then you'll spend the lesson time learning starter things like how to march across the ice and how to fall safely. if you have any questions at all, ASK THE INSTRUCTOR! *what to wear for pants, jeans or what? you could wear anything you can comfortably move in. jeans can get heavy and don't dry quickly if they get wet, so track pants are a good idea. *what to wear on the top: a t-shirt with a sweater or sweatshirt or what? try a light top underneath a warm jumper; you'll probably warm up quite a bit once you start moving. *what should i bring? water or gatorade or what...? water bottle, tissues!, gloves and lip balm are good things to have with you. perhaps tie your hair up so it doesnt get in your eyes and so you can see clearly. also maybe some band-aids incase you get blisters. have fun skating! i hope you enjoy it :)
