  About 1/2 of what some good new equipment is going for at this time. Unless you know what you are trying to buy, I suggest you go to a specialty ski shop and get their advice and suggestions. Most of the Play it again type shops have well used gear and it is not always in good, much less very good condition. Your ski boots are the most critical piece of gear and must fit very tight around your foot and ankle. The skis can be found many other places and at reasonable prices, if you know what you are buying. Inspect the skis for shear twist, flex pattern, base gouges, condition of the edges and also the bindings which should be less than 4 years old or no shop will work on them. Do not try to adjust them yourself without expert training. If you make a mistake, you could end up with a leg fracture or worse. Much safer to go to a specialty ski shop and look at the sales that are going on right now. A visit to the hospital is much more expensive than a new pair of skis and boots that fit correctly to you.
