Which skis should i get?

It is fairly hard to get a race ski except through the race programs in your area. Try to contact the rep in your area or your team coach. Salomon, Atomic and Fischer are all producing some good race skis. Few ski shops will stock any race skis, the volume just is not there, hence the money from a high volume turnover is lacking. Most shops could order a pair for you but it should be done soon. Check the FIS web page for the allowed sizes for the events you are entering for your classification. Other brands that are on the podium are Head, Rossignol and Nordica. Try to demo a pair before you buy, but that may mean you need to attend a race camp this fall. For the 2 events you mention, 1 pair may be usable unless you are in the national circuit, in which case ask the team coach. Good luck.
