    The rossignol s3's are a fantastic ski for what you described. Atomic, K2 and rossignol are all great brands. Rocker is great and the s3's have just the right amount. You can probably get last years model (same model different graffics) for about 500$

i agree, ask the experts, although personally i would recommend scott punishers(jibs if you plan to park a lot/jump a lot, and normal ones if you plan to go off piste at all. they're extremely stable at high speeds.
