i have some volkl vertigo g2 20-20s and i love them they get me though every thing no problem i haven't hit the speed were they aren't stable(i go as fast i can so don't think i go slow)and im just about to mount some tele bindings on it so free your heel and have fun

K2 Axis about 5 years old. A great teaching ski and easy to ride. Stable up to 35 MPH. It's a good compromise ski for all around skiing. K2 seems to have a very versatile line of equipment for most skiers. Choose what you want to do and then research the makers.
