  • Answer:

For your size and ability the K2 tru luv in a 160 +/- 5 cm or the misdemeanor might be a good choice. I'm looking at the Recon in 175 for my weight and ability, but they may wait until spring since I've got 2 pair to teach on.

Go for skis in the range of the top of your nose to the top of your forehead. The reason you would be able to take longer skis because you seem to have the strength to turn skis that are longer. It would also depend on how soft your ski. The softer the ski the bigger you can go because they are easier to turn.

Mucher

Skis up to your nose.

Get a good pair of All-MT twin tips. They should be to about your nose or fore head area. With that size you will have the stability and mobility throughout the whole mt. Messuring to your chin is for snowboarding. Some people do ski on skis that short but shorter skis do not work well for an all mt rider.

Buy skiis that come up to your chin. That is how I measure my snow board. An old trick.
