i am your same height and weight. to start get between 150-165cm length ski. since youre a beginner you should get a shaped ski(curved edges). pick something in the category of all-mountain skis. every ski company makes an all mountain ski. stay away from rossignol skis, they suck. look up K2, Volkl, Atomic, or Salomon to start reading about the skis each company makes.
