What is the best ski resort in the USA?

Granted I've never been out west, but as far as the east goes Stratton is my favorite, they have great grooming, snow, parks, glades. They have something for everybody. They aren't as big as Killington but they are a better managed mountain and you'll probably enjoy it a lot more Jay Peak, Mount Snow, Okemo, and Hunter (NY) are good as well

Snowbird, Keystone, and Beaver Creek are my favorites.

My favorite is Snowbird, UT for amazing snow and challenging terrain. My guess is that intermediate and beginning skiers would choose somewhere else. Squaw Valley is pretty awesome too.

Heavenly at Tahoe!!!! i dont know if this gets publicity or not, if your in california or nevada it does.

Well you know its all a preference, I would have to say my top 3 are Northstar at Tahoe; Big Sky, Montana; and Beaver Creek, Colorado. If those count as non publicity. Some good ones that get publicity are Park City, Utah. Copper Mountain Colorado
