I'm about to buy a Ouija Board, but I'm petrified of the horrible stories I've read about it. Are they real or Ouija Board is only another Urban Legend? Have you ever ...show more

Answer:
Yes, I've played Ouija, and scared the living daylights out of one of the people I was playing with. It is easy to manipulate, so I "made" a "spirit" send "messages" to a gullible work colleague who was playing with us. Even when I explained that I was faking it, he didn't believe me.

Well it was originally sold as a family game, so I think you'd be fine, it just depends whether anyone with you wants to scare you and how gullible you are.

Yes, it worked perfectly. Fun was had and all the silly folks were identified. I have a feeling yours will work just as well, if not better. In fact I'm positive.

Tried it: Yes Did it work: Yes, it seemed to. Was it good or bad overall? BAD, recreational drug use at the time probably made it a lot worse. Would I recommend it? NO! No good can come of it. We are very susceptible to suggestion and our imaginations are probably the most powerful weapon that can be used against us .... even if we do it to ourselves. Now, as an old fart with some serious life experience behind me, I might be better equipped to remain rational. As a teenager, smoking dope and taking acid for a short period, the effect was horrible and long lasting. I have no reason to lie to you but, then again, if you are anything like I was, you won't pay any attention to what an old fart says.

Those old "made in Chicago" ouija boards that you can still get on e-bay are the best. The Chicago ones have been imbued with the most occult power. Go for the Simmons, William Flud, Volo, or Mystic brands of Chicago made ouija boards. Some of the other lesser known Chicago made brands of ouija boards are ok as well. But there is less consumer feed back data on them since they are so much rarer. Those old time ouija board makers from back in the heyday, when Chicago was the "Ouija Board Capital of the World" really knew what they were doing. Off-shoring the ouija board factories was a big mistake. We not only lost those U.S. jobs but the level of demonic power is now so much lower. It not just a matter of craftsmanship or materials. They just don't make strongly spiritually possessed boards like that overseas.

I do not recommend to anyone any such usage of this device at all to anyone. They can be dangerous and you do not completely know with what you are communicating with. That you feel the way you have described is curious and I will say , the aspect of coming in contact with the spirit realm can leave you drained a bit as that is what they are feeding off of in order to manifest. Human energy. They could also have an affect on you leaving you a bit bedazzled and a little discombobulated. Though the spirit you may of come in contact with appeared to be harmless, you simply do not know if it did not have any other sort of intentions that may of be on the sinister side. The ouija board is a portal that can and does allow in such beings into this realm and though it can seem harmless, it is very much a mystery as to who or what crosses through it. Take care and be safe.

No and I don't plan on it....I have seen to many spirits without it.

I did about 5 years ago, they said he was a man from my dads side of the family but didn't tell me their name and said I would find out within a year and to this day I'm still clueless! But they knew stuff about me... I wouldn't buy one just yet, look into it, get all the books etc before you even have it in your house because there is prayers you have to say before/after you do it, or check that it comes with all this information. Good luck xxx

My dad did it when he was 15 with his friends and something really bad happened but he won't say. I know this because I was talking about them and my mum whispered to me to stop talking them near my dad and told me that, she wouldn't lie. So you can't be sure, do it at your own risk.
I tried it years ago with my mates nothing bad happened so try it if you like but be prepared.
