    Sorry about that. I'm no psychic (no one really is), but I would not do the transfer, as you only have a 50% chance, and transfers are not pretty. Trust me on that,, I've witnessed one. They can ruin your family... But I would keep an eye out for a new job. I'm not sure how hard it is to find a new job in the UK, but I would start looking for one soon. The redundancy money is important, don't risk losing it. It will buy you a little time to search for a new job. Bottom line: look for a job secretley, get the money. It's best for your family.

My advice is to transfer if that is a real choice. Or wait until December get your redundancy money, but prior to that seek employment with the company in LIncoln.Then you get your money and the job. I get the impression you were not born in Kent if so you willl do well elsewhere.
