How does music affect someones blood pressure?

It sounds like an interesting project, but you will have to establish the variation in blood pressure that can occur over the same time interval with or without listening to music, so that you have a range to measure deviation from. I would seek to use a variety of ages and genders, but the key will be repetitions of reading on the same individuals over the same time intervals.

I think that I'd keep it as simple as possible. Select your test group and record each person's blood pressure before and after listening to a passage of music. If you record their age and sex you can graph that as well, but you'd need a pretty large sample to show subpatterns. Sounds interesting.
