Answer:
I don't think anyone except you can answer that question because of all the factors that come into play in determining it, but I can say that a good average for your age is between 6 and 8 minutes, maybe faster because you seem to be athletic, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything when I tell you that my friend Taylor Mays (starting free safety for USC) said he probably runs it in 12 minutes. To answer your other question I am 17 and run it in 4:35 and am a distance runner by nature. The mile is just on the edge of my ability, however. The 5k and 10k are more my races.

my best time is 4:36.6. you have to train to figure this one out. If you want a good time then you have to put plenty of mile in your traing and complete all your speed work. National 14 yr old Record is 4:16.62 by Craig Forys in 2004

It depends. Anywhere between 6-9 minutes is normal for a non-runner if you are in shape. My best is 6:56.

It depends on you as a person, I play football, and track and I run as often as I can, for some people under 10 is a huge acomplishment and it is something they should be proud of. As long as you improve you should be proud, the fastest I ever ran a mile was 5:45. I'm 15

Well first it depends on if your a girl or boy, and what kind of shape you are in, for the presidential standards for school if you are a boy you should be able to go 6:26, and for national standards you should be able to go 7:44 and if your a girl presidential standards for school you should be able to 7:59 and for national standards you should be able to go 10:46 I would say you should be able go under 7 minutes, in my opinion i think that would be a good time for a non runner who plays basketball, im a 13 year old girl and i go 5:58 but i run as a sport, so if you want to get your mile time down just keep practicing and dont give up, good luck.

i'm 14 and i ran a mile last year in 5.58 mins but i'm a runner and train 3-4 times a week so around 7 mins would be really good.

i was the same way when i was 14. i played bball but never really went running. i could run about a 7 min mile then. but really it depends on how much u run in the games. some people stay back the whole time while others all up and down the court. the only way u can tell is if u go out and run a mile. i'v started running alot more and can now run a 6 min mile.
