If your on EI beneits and you do your taxes, do you report that income tax refund ?
-
I'm collecting EI benefits and I've just finally done my income tax, I am going to get a refund that is almost equal to how much I get biweekly. Do I report this refund?
-
Answer:
No. An income tax refund is not income -- it's a refund of taxes overpaid the previous year.
