None of them ALONE can make you hefty income unless you do something different than others. You always have to try new ways to monetize your traffic. It can be using a mix of adsense plus affiliate links, CPA links, email marketing etc. 10000 views per month is a good figure. But my honest opinion is not to be DEPENDENT of one website when you really have to make a considerable income through adsense. Create more blogs, websites so in totality your income will soar to your expectations. A single website cant do that.

Post it on Craiglist. It can make you create more traffic then post it in adsense to make your traffic convert to money. Yahoo, Google and MSN are free sites so you cannot expect to make money out of them.
