Is, "Cash Gifting", legal/illegal?

Cash Gifting legality questioned. Can you convince me that Cash Gifting is perfectly legitimate and legal?

    There is not a list of names in cash gifting and no birthday parties. How the system pretty much works is you send in your money to the owner of the website, usually starting at $500, one I know of at $300, then there's $49 and up for your own website. Now you get onto the internet and get as many people to your website through promoting, place free classified ads, and blogging, all the while encouraging them to call and/or email you with any and all questions about the system. There's absolutely no pressure to join, it's totally up to the individual. Be careful though, a lot of "sponsors" dump the person who signed up since they got their money and they're left to learn internet marketing on their own. There's also a non-solicitation statement and gifting statement that must be signed by the participant to keep things legal.

see the thing about cash gifting is that it is legal, for the fact the system worked its way around every loophole. Trust me iv researched it for 3 years. iv called many people, scam alert, and other scam watch websites. iv learned that "cash gifting" is not technically a pyramid because of the one up system. as soon as you qualify you break off the chain. you only give once to the person above you and thats it. money does not go more than one person up the line and because of that its not a pyramid. and when you invite people to your website its their own choice whether or not they want to join. its not a busyness its a program, and your not guaranteed to make money. its a well thought out system that got around all the legality issues somehow. but that does not mean it could be illegal in the neer future. but what are they going to do? they cant send 55 thousand people to jail lol

My my research on them, I yet to find one that turned out successful. They usually start with good intentions but then one or more people get greedy and people get hosed. I would avoid them if I were you.

Are you talking about the birthday gifting clubs and whatnot? Like where a person has to give $1000 to a party where the person whose birthday it is gets all of the money contributed and the idea is that if you wait until your birthday you will get the big payout? The thing about those is that what happens is a few people walk away with a lot of money and a lot of people end up losing a lot of money. If it is something like this then it is illegal. I read about one of these being busted up at least once a year. schwaggville That sounds a lot like a chain letter scam, which is also illegal.

My understanding of the current versions of the old pyramid scheme is that the compensation is derived from the SALE OF A PRODUCT. This "product" happens to be a list of names. I have never known anyone who has ever tried it, although I have received "the letter" a few times in the mail. I believe that is the main difference, "the sale of a product" is met by selling the mailing list to the participants for $1 each.
