    On top of affiliates, adsense, stumbleupon and such i say use "word-of-mouth" with people you know if you're offering something useful for people. If they like it have then tell others about it and there you go.

you need to create a buzz about the website. there are many different ways to go about doing it, but most of them cost money to do... however, i saw this contest that people submit a contest idea. if that idea wins, the company will run that contest for free. this is a great way to get people involved so that the word spreads quicker. here is the link if you want: http://contestconcept.com/

I think you should look in affiliate marketing or facebook, but be warned it is a lot of hard work! Internet gurus make everything sound "really easy" In fact I have found because there is sooo much content available on the internet today, that even the "hyped" stuff is being over done by internet "gurus". Much of it, I ignore. Good luck!
