Why is the wrist a bad place to get a tattoo?

I have a tattoo that goes all the way around my left wrist... Why do you think that it's a bad idea to get one there? That is my favorite tattoo.. And it did not hurt in anyway what so ever!!! I have tattoos other places also, like on my lower and upper back and on my spine and the wrist was the least pain full one... It didn't feel like much of anything kinda tickled... Also for the brains that are saying it could bust threw a vain.... UM that's not possible and i assure you that nothing will go threw your veins if you go and get a tattoo... The needles are very small and there are numerous needles used in the gun not just one, and there set so that they can only go threw so many layers of skin... The part that holds the needles in place is to large to go allow the needles to go through too many layers of skin... If you want a tattoo there get one there.... The wrist tattoo's are hidden very easy, with a watch or bracelet...

I wouldn't say it's a bad place. The only reason I would think it to not be the best location is b/c the skin it a little thinner there (especially on the underside) & more sensitive + it is a very open spot that sees a lot of sunlight, etc, which would mean it might fade quicker.

oyu have a very importany vein there that you can easily cu open on accident....you can die form it. also, the dei from the tatoo can get into your bloodstream there, because the vien is so close to your skin. you can get poisoned. but it's very rare....get a tatoo inside your lip! it's totally cool and hidden from people. lol im getting one soon

coz the flesh and skin are thin in that area and it hurts the most there compared to other places in the body.plus its where the pulse is.

Because of your future job potional. There are still people out there that don't like them and their usually the person you need to impress the most.

wrist is bad area for a tatto because underneath it are major vessels which are very vital in transporting nutrients to all our body parts. if the tatto needle will accidentally prick such vessels, it can cause some complications such as infection or it may even damage the vessels which will enable us to function normally.
