What are the benefits of being bilingual in the medical field?

What are the benefits of a post graduate degree within the field of journalism, especially a masters of science in technology?

• I am a professional journalist with an insatiable desire to learn. I think more journalists (particularly women) need to grow their technical and digital skills and understand the business of journalism. That is why I am pursuing a master's degree in graphic information technology. It has been fabulous so far (5 classes in). These skills are enough of a benefit on their own to me to be worth the investment. The reason I asked the question is to make sure I don't miss out on other benefits I had not expected or considered. What must I do to put myself in a position to make the most of obtaining a post-graduate degree in technology within the field of journalism?

  It sounds self serving Shannon but the key is picking the right school. Do they have faculty who have been there/done that? Most do. Do they have faculty still doing it -not as many.  Make sure they not only teach writing (and more writing) but ethics with a heavy dose of entrepreneurship.
