Using Jmeter for load testing is there a way to record a test script for mobile applications?

JMeter is primarily used for load testing web applications and web services. Unless your native iOS app operates in a UIWebView, I would consider either using another tool for performance testing or test the discrete services that make up your application. If your app does operate on a WebView (via Phonegap, for example), than you can use JMeter the way you would for any other application. Bear in mind, Load Testing == Concurrent stress testing the application server, database server, caching, network I/O etc.
