What can an ulcer cause you?

Can a stomach ulcer cause heartburn?

• I think I have an ulcer and usually I don't get heartburn but recently I've had a few bad episodes of heartburn. Could the ulcer be the cause?

  You could under stress be reacting to a higher fat diet. an ulcer would be severe pain. one which is long term lasting. and you would be taking antacids in larger quanity. if this is so. see a stomach doctor. check your yellow pages in your area and call one close to you to ask question if in doubt. if you had heartburn episodes. this could also be due to new medicine reaction during times of stress. check a diary of the occurance and see if the intake of foods is fatty, and check if you are in stressed days, and compare the occurances. this can help when you do go to that doctor or if you call.
