Why do we celebrate Diwali?

Why celebrate diwali?

  • why celebrate diwali

  • Answer:

To follow a very beautiful and rich tradition. Day to day life is boring. If you want to buy a car, wahing machine , refrigiator, car, any utensil, off handedly, it has no meaning. But when you buy on dhan-teras. It becomes special. when you clean your house and decorate it with lights, it gives such a wonderful feeling. celeberating 'Goverdhan', is a traditional way of preserving and remembering our environment. In ordinary life, if our brother visits us, we have a casual attitude. but on bhai-dooj he becomes special. so it is nice to get out of the rut and celeberate Dewali. It gives us happiness and joy. And ofcourse, money earned, suddenly becomes Godess Lakshmi, showering us with wealth.

Many reasons are given. One plausible reason is Goddess of Wealth (sri.Lakshmi) and God of Health (sri.Dhanvantri) come(visit) to Earth on that day. It is needless to say, health and wealth are important by Humans.
