What flowers and colours to take to a Diwali party?

i am going to my bosses diwali party and would like to take a gift as a big event. I was thinking of taking some flowers but what flower and colours will suit?
Answer:

bright red & bright yellow...these are the colours of the flowers taken to festivals in India...so i assume it would be the same for Diwali.
