What the best well paid jobs in the UK which are over looked ?

I'm right with anyone that says plumbers.... there is a further education college not far from me that has been referred to as "the Cambridge of plumbing" and is always over-subscribed. The same is true of other similar things like gas fitters and electricians, anything to do with the construction industry. But that's because they need qualifications - if you employ one to work on YOUR house, you don't want them doing it wrong, do you? Qualifications in something people want really are the key.

You are unqualified and it is unlikely you will earn a huge wage until you have a marketable skill. Look for something you can train in house at like Accountancy. Poor starting wage but each exam and section past means a pay rise. Look at an access to higher education course and do nursing or something else on the NHS careers site. Once you do the course which can be done part time you will be able to open doors.
