People, he clearly states: "i recently sold a broken item to some dude on eBay and im afraid to tell him". He intentionally sold it knowing it was broken (despite what his title says). It's obvious the condition of the item was not listed in the description. What's going to happen to you? If the buyer is smart, he'll leave you a bad feedback, file a dispute with ebay and/or paypal and eventually you'll have to refund his money and pay for the return shipping. Get enough bad feedback and ebay will ban your IP address. It's not a federal offense (of course depending on the amount spent) but you basically scammed the poor bastard.

if the dude paid with pay pal it doesn't matter if you said no returns, all he has to do i open a dispute and pay pal will take the money from you

What you stated in the item description was the sellers responsibilty to read and be accountable for. As long as the item you gave him matched the description, he cannot open a dispute. He agreed to the actions once he bought the item.
