I suggest you just make it VERY search engine optimized. Another thing you can do is "link exchange" with some other sites, so that you two have each other links. Also try to post the link of your website on other sites that are slightly relevant to it, because when google indexes that site, it will also find the link to your site as well. Also, make sure to have a site map of your site, that will help google index it. And another thing, write your meta tags in detail.
